Dental implants are changing the way people live! People are rediscovering the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh, and enjoy life.
Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for the replacement of teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. A person who has lost their teeth will regain the ability to eat virtually anything, smile with confidence, and know that their teeth appear natural. In addition, implants can help preserve facial structure, and prevent bone deterioration that occurs when teeth are missing.
Dental implants are small titanium devices that are surgically placed into the jawbone to replace missing teeth. They function as an artificial root to replace single or multiple teeth that have been lost.
Implants are placed in our office with minimal to no discomfort. During the healing process, you will be able to wear temporary dentures to assist in chewing and for cosmetic purposes. Once the implant has bonded to the jawbone, Dr. Williams will uncover the implants and attach the healing abutment. At the same time, our team will design the final bridge or crown to complete the treatment.
Most patients do not experience any disruption in their daily life.
In addition, with technology available in our office we are able to offer ‘Teeth in a Day’. For many, it is possible to extract failing teeth, place the necessary implants and place fixed, non-removable temporary restorations in a single appointment. This provides for both immediate functional and cosmetic replacement of failing teeth, minimizing the disruption to a patient’s busy life style.
If you like many others, feel implant dentistry is the right choice for you, we ask that you contact our office for a consultation. During the consultation visit, you will discuss your specific needs and considerations with Dr. Williams. You are important to us and our team is here to work with you every step of the way.
